However, Saturn has produced some of the finest SUVs in the market. Vue, a crossover SUV, Relay, also classified as a minivan, and Outlook, a larger SUV, were some of the Saturn SUV. These models were modified, upgradedand perfected as years came by.

There were confusions if the Saturn Relay was actually a minivan or SUV. The misperception of its classification was brought about its body structure. It has a sliding door which makes it less of an SUV and more of a minivan. Nonetheless, this model was designed to suit family use. Having a folding third row sit and a good digital music system, it offers a good family transportation. However, consumers never welcomed the Relay, forcing Saturn to pull out this model.

A larger crossover, the Outlook, then came in. The Saturn Outlook provides a smooth ride and good handling. It also has a striking interior design and runs on efficient fuel consumption. Despite these overwhelming characteristics, this Saturn SUV has a limited maneuverability because of its huge framing, making it less desirable to handle. Unlike the Relay, Outlook has lasted the competition in the market until the company experienced bankruptcy.

Saturn SUV has been introduced in 2002 with the Vue. The first generation of Saturn Vue ran in the market for five years, with a plastic body panels. First generation Vue paved its way on the market and made pretty good earnings. While the second generation was improved with steel body panels in 2008, making it look like a European modeled car only with a Saturn mark. It also had a greater width and height. The interior design of the second generation Saturn Vue was said to have good ergonomics and impressed thousands of buyers.

The Saturn Vue was known to be the best Saturn SUV because it is known to have a fun-to-drive spirit and it runs with great fuel efficiency. Buyers tend to choose Vue because of its good value. Also, it has recorded the highest sales among all the Saturn SUVs signaling that Vue is the people’s choice.

Too bad Saturn has experienced insolvency in 2009. Now, they are no longer producing new automobiles. But if you are looking for Saturn SUVs, especially Saturn Vue, there are many second-hand cars available. But what is important is that Saturn has made a good run on their 22 years of business and made a huge impact in the automobile industry.
